I gag at the vile stench of
your repugnant leer
and recoil

I am unfledged and
naturally underprepared
for his crude, calculated ambush

Featherless in flight is
more akin to falling
and the tumbling is
fast and merciless

His unwelcome touch
tips me out and I crash with impact
deep in union with the horrible
forgotten's and unremembered's

Weakened and cut wide open
I'm only brave enough
in fleeting moments
where my lost voice sets him alight
with the truth of his crimes

And I rejoice as his disgusting form
ceremoniously thrashes in flames
and he is completely charred
by my righteous indignation

Broken fingers to point out
grave mistakes already made
a lone warning he knows
he is lucky to have the chance to heed
